  • To enable the people to be aware of the Govt. Schemes and Privileges  meant for them & to know their rights and duties and assist the people   & Govt. for the effective implementation of these available source.
  • To take up relief activities at the time of Natural Calamities with the assistance of Govt. and Non-Govt. organizations.
  • To arrange training programmes for rural people, workers of development Agencies and its members for the interest of community.
  • To take up various socio-economic & cultural activities for the development of the community.
  • To encourage & cooperate for the growth of local VO of the rural people to take-up various rural development programmes.
  • To assist the poor section of the people for their socio economic & political development.
  • To awake the people through various educational programmes to build a healthy society.
  • To raise funds in the form of donations & other legal means in the interest of the people and to give grant, financial assistance either by way of contribution or loan with or without any security to any personbodies or agencies upon terms which will ensure that the money is used for the allotment of the objectives and purpose of the society.
  • To fight against social injustice, exploitation and any form of oppression prevailing in the society by themselves. • to take up various welfare programmes as to the need. 

Friends Association For Rural Reconstruction

The brainchild of a team of development professionals called “FARR” began its journey in the year 1983. With bags of experience coupled with knowledge and skill sets in rural development,

FARR started its work from the remotest possible area on the earth i.e. Lanjigarh & Muniguda, Hindol of Kalahandi and Koraput, and Dhenkanala districts of Odisha, India respectively. Now FARR extended its work in nine most backward district of Odisha.
