The brainchild of a team of development professionals called “FARR” began its journey in the year 1983. With bags of experience coupled with knowledge and skill sets in rural development,
FARR started its work from the remotest possible area on the earth i.e. Lanjigarh & Muniguda, Hindol of Kalahandi and Koraput, and Dhenkanala districts of Odisha, India respectively. Now FARR extended its work in nine most backward district of Odisha.
FARR visualises a Society of material fulfilment, highest intellectual attainment and peace.
To provide equal opportunity and empower women and poor people in particular in order to initiate and strengthen a value based people centred participatory development process, which will be ecologically, socially and economically sustainable
